We encourage our members to get involved. Membership dues are applied to primary operating expenses of the association and the board has developed a few fund raising strategies that will be implemented as needed. If you support the mission of this group, we could use your help in supporting ongoing projects as well. There will be opportunities for members to volunteer to groom trails and clear debris, but we also need increased funds. Select the project that speaks to your heart. Winter Trail Grooming Fuel
When the snow flies it is time to get out the trail grooming equipment. During the 2014-2015 winter season, TCPA spent $85.00 on fuel costs. During the first season, TCPA enlisted the help of the Paradise Area Tourism Council to aid with those costs. But we need to build this fund through donations by members that have a passion specifically for snow shoeing and cross-country skiing on Paradise Pathways. If you plan on taking advantage of this opportunity we ask you to buy in. We have a group of volunteers to drive the snow mobile and pull the groomer, we just need fuel! Special Note Donations made online are made through a local graphic designer, DogHouse Designs. Your credit card will register DogHouse Designs and you will hear from them as well as the TCPA Treasurer upon receipt of your donation. Summer Trail Grooming Maintenance

Members will be hiking the trail, removing dead limbs, cutting out safety concerns, repairing trail foundation, and removing non-native, invasive species. During the first season, TCPA enlists your help in this endeavor as well. While you are hiking be mindful of the trail condition. Let us know if you have any concerns regarding the trail. There is some equipment we need to do this task and we have budgeted $200.00 to build this fund for equipment and supplies. If you plan on taking advantage of this opportunity we ask you to buy in. Trail Head Sign
Communication and education is important. Setting up a sign at the trail head identifying the efforts of TCPA can be a powerful tool in communicating trail etiquette and adequately marking information for trail users. The best way to reduce trail incursion is to clearly identify the trail as dedicated to non-motorized use. If the cross-country skier can't tell where the trail flows next, how can we expect the snowmobiler to realize they are in the wrong place. The cost for the much needed signage is $200.00.
